Dear Esteemed Delegates, Faculty Advisors, and Parents,
It is our great honor to welcome you all to the UILFLY-MUN Beijing, taking place from August 8th to August 11th, 2025, in Beijing, China, at Keystone Academy Beijing.
UILFLY-MUN Beijing was established with the mission of providing students with a platform to engage in global diplomacy, critical thinking, and leadership. Distinct from traditional Model United Nations conferences, UILFLY-MUN Beijing is designed to provide delegates of all experience levels with a uniquely immersive and bilingual experience. Our six dynamic committees, with five conducted in English and one in Chinese, cover a diverse range of topics, from gender equality and addressing climate change to building transnational health coordination mechanisms and a discussion on the protection of the right for all species on this planet. Together, these committees address all 17 of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), offering delegates a truly comprehensive and globally-relevant experience.
In addition to two full days of committee sessions and Dais Head drop-in office hours, we are excited to offer the first and the fourth day of programming that will feature a series of guest speaker talks and faculty- and student-led panels designed to deepen delegates’ engagement and familiarity with international affairs, public service, cross-sector leadership, and Ivy-style life and admissions. Moreover, we are proud to host this conference alongside Keystone Academy—it draws from Chinese, American, and global learning traditions and weaves them into a powerful bilingual education model. At UILFLY-MUN Beijing, delegates will gain the rare opportunity to not only step foot into, but also actively engage with this remarkable space for dialogue and innovation.
Our dedicated Secretariat team of seven Yale students is committed to creating an environment where delegates from all backgrounds can engage in intellectually rigorous debate and meaningful cross-cultural dialogue. By convening students in a stimulating and inclusive setting, our committees aim to transcend barriers of background, experience, and language to inspire creative solutions to pressing global challenges and broaden access to the Model United Nations experience for students across China. Through the opportunity to engage in collaborative and diplomatic problem-solving, we hope to foster mutual understanding and respect, empowering students to enact positive change on both global and individual scales.
We are beyond excited to present the first iteration of UILFLY-MUN Beijing and look forward to welcoming all delegates to our conference in Beijing this August!
